Aplin & Martin Consultants Ltd provides complete design, construction and project management services for road and utility servicing for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments.

We provide teams of planners and engineers to tackle complex development, land use and engineering serviceability assignments. Working closely with municipal and private clients, as well as outside stakeholders and the general public, Aplin & Martin has been at the forefront of sustainable land use planning and engineering for many years. Planning services include stakeholder meetings, discussion forums, public open houses, presentations to staff and council, and work programs tailored to meet project-specific needs. Engineering services include infrastructure servicing analysis, conceptual designs, detailed designs, feasibility studies, cost estimates, project tendering, and construction project management. Survey services include legal topographic and engineering surveys. Assignments range from large master / neighbourhood community plans covering hundreds of acres and multiple uses to small infill projects.

Our residential projects range from single-detached subdivisions, to multi-family townhouse and apartment developments. This includes both standalone infill projects and complex master planned mixed use projects.

Our commercial projects cover all forms of commercial, from local retail developments to large format regional retail centres. Such work also includes restaurants, gas stations, and casinos.

Our industrial projects include large multi-phase industrial and business park developments, with high levels of amenities, serving the regional industrial needs.

Work includes conceptual and detailed designs and approvals, coordinating sub-consultants, feasibility studies, cost estimates, as well as contract preparation and construction administration. Several recent projects have obtained or are pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

Capital Works & Municipal Engineering: Aplin & Martin Consultants Ltd provides complete design, construction and project management services for public sector capital works, including: road, water, drainage and sewer systems planning, design and construction inspection services. This involves complex water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and storm water management systems.

Work includes conceptual and detailed design, coordination of outside agency approvals, report preparation, and tendering and construction administration for municipal utilities for a variety of different types of projects.
